Approach
The Belvedere Way
In addition to your financial circumstances, we strive to learn more about your life goals. We can help build your customised portfolio collaboratively because we understand your goals, both personally and financially.
With careful planning, you can be confident in the creation of a tax-efficient investment strategy tailored to your specific requirements.
Financial Advisory
Financial advisory is not only about improving personal assets, but it can also consist of sustaining and growing long-term funding and generational financial stability.
It combines both financial planning and specialised financial advice services such as capital gains planning, estate planning, risk management legal and tax advice.
Financial Planning
-
Step 2: Cash Flow Model & Risk ProfileWe input all the information received in the first meeting, along with all other information we need to go and find on your behalf, into a cash flow model. This programme allows you to visualise your life through numbers, charts, and graphs, answering the all and important questions such as: Can I afford that house in 5 years’ time... Can I afford to send my child or children to private school... Are my plans and goals realistic... Can I achieve Financial Freedom at 55 or will I have to continue to work until 65… We then discuss your risk profile, your thoughts on risk, and your attitude to risk. Through our discussions, and if needed a questionnaire, we will be gauging your understanding of risk vs reward and the different asset classes, while filling in the gaps and making recommendations where necessary.
-
Step 4: Ongoing ReviewsAs part of the ongoing cost, you can choose to have an ongoing review conducted by us. The aim of these meetings is to update you on the performance of your portfolio, to discuss any legislative changes which could affect your portfolio, and to review your plan to make sure we are on target. This is also a perfect time for you to be updating me on any changes in your personal life or to update any of the goals you have set for yourself.
-
Step 1: Introduction & DiscoveryWe believe that this service works best when there is a relationship between the adviser and client that is why the first meeting is all about us getting to know you and you getting to know us. We start by introducing ourselves, our services, how we get paid, our goals and the objectives for the meeting and then it is all about you. We start with a blank page. We want to know all about you. Your short, medium and long term targets. Your aims, objectives, goals, and ambitions. We want to know about your life now and most importantly about the life you want to live going forward. Some of the questions we get you to answer are: Why are you investing? For how long are you looking to invest for? What level of risk are you willing to take? You will not be asked to complete any financial questionnaires or to bring anything with you. All you have to do is relax and talk. Leave the rest up to us. All our meetings can be conducted remotely or in person.
-
Step 3: Presentation, Advice & Getting StartedThe next step is to present you with your financial plan. This document clearly outlines your current situation, your goals, and objectives. It details our advice, the ongoing cost and our recommended investment strategy. You decide if you wish to work with us to help achieve your goals or if you want to continue to do this solo. Should you wish to implement the plan, you authorise the necessary documentation, remotely if needed. We then decide on a start date and investment amount. Everything can be monitored remotely with your own secure Wealth Account.
